The frames are sold separately at the website. When placing an order on a poster and adding a frame we'll make sure to assemble it for you and (if needed) include a passepartout in order to get a professional look and exclusive finish to it.

An original painting is unique since there's only 1 edition of it, signed, hand made and painted on canvas. An original poster states which original painting it is a reproduction off, by showcasing the paintings title on the poster. It's also common to state which year that painting was drawn, the artists name and/or who ownes the copyrights for that image. There are many interpretations to what a poster is which we'll discuss in a separate FAQ.

Okay so there's a lot of posters and definitions out there, let's try sort this out. 1. Posters are a printed artwork, generally mass produced through computer printing and not as high quality when it comes to choice of colours and paper. Posters can also be made for movies, celebritets or sports advertisements. 2. The term 'vintage' is a bit vague, we decided to draw the line that all posters and prints published more than 20 years ago are categorised as vintage. Our oldest artworks where published early 70s and are still in excellent condition to this day - now that says a lot about quality.

Art print is a generic term for an image being made on a board and then pressed on paper using different techniques, som of the listed below: Lithography - printing from a stone board Silk screen printing (also known as serigraphy ) - which consists of pressing ink through separate stencils for each color. Offset printing - is a method of production in which the images on metal plates are transferred (offset) to rubber blankets or rollers and then to the print. Prints are also signed and numbered by the artist meaning it's a limited edition. The quality of paper and inks being used also differs. The art collection at Stain has been produced with the same attention to detail as the rest of Galleri GKM's editions over the years. The posters has been printed using the silkscreen method and in many cases with the artists presence at production. Some of the artworks are made in two editions which we have separated in 'exhibition' and 'prints'. The motive and technique is exactly the same, the information about the exhibition printed on the poster is what tells them apart. Please see an example below.

All orders are shipped from Malmö, Sweden. We always try to be as efficient as possible when shipping your order. We try to ship orders within one working day. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with the tracking number of your order. Your order will be delivered to the delivery address you specify when placing your order. Within Europe - Free Shipping on orders of posters and prints. If buying a frame there will be a shipping cost of 15€ (free if the amount totals 300€). As soon as your order is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can track your order via the courier’s website. The poster is rolled up by order and sent to you in a recycled paper tube.

Stain offers the possibility to exchange or return the products within 14 days since the order has been delivered. For a full refund. the product must be in original condition and show no signs of usage. Customer is responsible for printing the return label which will be recieved by email after you fill in the return form. The refund will be made within 10 days once we recieve the product. STAIN reserves the right to deduct the refundable amount if the product or items in the original packaging is missing, damaged or showing signs of use.

STAIn accepts Klarna, American Express, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa and several other local debit cards and billing options. All payment options available for each country are displayed at checkout when you have selected your shipping country.

Items shipped within the EU are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the final purchase price. Non-EU countries may be subject to VAT and customs duties on top of the sales price once the package reaches its destination. You will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. STAIN is not responsible for any changes in currency value or conversion rates that your bank or credit card company may use when charging in your country’s currency.
